Media Bias

It's really hard for me to take serious, anyone who tries to dispute the fact that the mainstream media is biased. I can really only think of about three reasons why someone would not acknowledge the gross media bias we are subjected to on a daily basis. One, you agree with the opinions the "news people" are presenting, so you don't care that it's biased. Two, you never actually watch the news or read the paper, so you don't see the bias. Or three, you are just lying to yourself.
A great example of media bias would be the non coverage of the latest gaffe by everyones favorite walking blooper, Joe Biden. Last week "The Blundering One" shared this intriguing bit of history with us : "When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed, He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"  This was all news to me, because I thought Hoover was President in 1929, and the first time a president appeared on tv was in fact Roosevelt, but it was 1939. I guess we should give him some credit since he had the correct decade...
My point is, if it were the ravishing Governor of Alaska that had made this epic miscue, we would still be hearing about it. There would have been news alerts telling us about it, and everyone would be talking about how stupid she is. No honest person can dispute that fact. Where are the Saturday Night Live Skits making fun of Joe Biden?
This is just one instance in a countless list of examples of media bias.

What do you think about the (potential) bias of the moderator for the Palin/Biden debate?
